My cycling teammates and I (party of 8) were thrilled to stay in this spotless historic house. We especially enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen, spacious bedrooms, and the huge dining room table that fit all of us for dinner. Cynnara was a generous host who left us some hydration mix since she knew we were in the area for a race. Will definitely book again when I/we need a place to gather in the greater south Richmond area.

One of the best Airbnbs ever! Perfect for a family getaway for 4 or 14. The place was very well maintained, clean, and the home was thought out and well stocked. The kitchen had high end pots and pans and lots of appliances to use. The beds were comfortable and clean. There were premium pillows in each bedroom which is different from other short term rentals I’ve stayed at. For all those that enjoy antiques, art, and the quality of craftsmanship this home has it all. My family enjoyed learning about the history of the home and how it played a role during the Civil War. There are lots of games for all ages, spacious rooms to relax in, and ways to close parts of the house if you require more privacy. The grounds have a “secret garden” feel to it. There was a surprise at every turn, from hidden sitting areas to exotic plants. Great location! Close to I-95 and shops. The host responded promptly and throughly to all my questions. Highly recommend. You will want to return!
